    I decided that we should have some way of notifying all of you (our viewers) of when we have new posts up on our website. So I wipped up an icon on Photoshop and made our Twitter account. You can find it at this link > @gadgetsandtech. If you would like to follow us, that would be great! We will tweet when we have some new posts up, so hopefully you will come and see them. Also, if you would like to follow the writers here at Gadgets and Tech here are our twitter accounts.   • Favorite Mac OS X applications?

    This is just going to be a quick post, asking for your help. For those of you who don’t know, I just recently got my first mac. It is an iMac G4, and I am looking for some nice and useful applications, preferably free that would be good for me to install and use. So please, if you have a Mac please leave a comment telling me what applications you use the most or your favorite applications and give a little bit about what it does.

      My favorite applications are:

      Evernote (the OS X and iPhone app – free)
      Aperture
      Lightroom
      NetNewsWire (RSS reader with iPhone app – free)
      iWork (I use it for invoices and flyers)
      Office
      Adium
      Skype
      Pixelmator or Photoshop Elements (for light photo corrections)

    I have been thinking about making some YouTube videos. I think that I could make some really good quality videos that could cover all of the things we do on this blog. Things like technology, gaming, gadgets, and computers. This would also give us a chance to make some good hardware reviews.

    Thecreativeone has made some great videos and I would love to do what he does. Chris Pirillo is another guy that talks a lot of tech and he also does a lot of videos on YouTube. So, tell me what you think, should we give this a try and make some videos? I think it would be a lot of fun and it would give us some more publicity. Tell us what you think.
